The plane landed safely with Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF) personnel standing by as a precaution. The plane has been taken to the hangar.

Over his 13 seasons with the New York Giants, Taylor was named to 10 Pro Bowls, won two Super Bowl titles and collected 1,088 tackles and 132.5 sacks. He also won a record three Defensive Player of the Year awards and was named the league’s Most Valuable Player for his performance during the 1986 season.
